Aim and Scope of Journal

The journal IJOR is published bi-annually under Innovative Publishers. IJOR disperses the information about the activities and the programmes of the association. IJOR aims in standardising the protocol and management of rheumatic and orthopaedic musculoskeletal disorders.

Due to fast pace of life and rapid industrialization, the growth of rheumatic and orthopaedic musculoskeletal disorders are in higher numbers. The management of such diseases faces a great challenge among orthopaedic surgeons. IJOR provides the best platform to share the management protocol, practical difficulty in treating diseases and engagement of biological therapeutic option in the form of PRP, stem cell applications in treating rheumatic and orthopaedic musculoskeletal disorders.

Due to the rapid growth of ‘Regenerative Science’, a new theory of bone and soft tissue regeneration have been focused on the role of growth factors in the platelets and the development of different therapeutic strategies and protocols in the treatment of chronic musculoskeletal disorders. The bioactive micromolecules present in the platelets and stem cells are histopromotive factors which undergo degranulation and induce cellular migration, proliferation, neoangiogenesis and regeneration of degenerated tissues. IJOR caters the management protocols in the recent advancements like PRP injections and stem cell injections for rheumatic and orthopaedic musculoskeletal disorders. This journal shows a paradigm shift from traumatic conditions to rheumatic and orthopaedic musculoskeletal disorders and its management.
