International Journal of Orthopaedic Rheumatology is an international peer review journal, which aims at promoting the exchange and propagation of knowledge on problems related to orthopaedic rheumatology and their disorders. IJOR accepts original research papers on clinical, medical or laboratory research related to Orthopaedic rheumatology, Arthropathy, Osteoarthropathy, Osteoporosis, Metabolic bone disorders, Autoimmune disorders, Soft tissue tumours and tumour related conditions, Stem cells and Regenerative Medicine, Translational Science and other related fields. We endeavor to improve the diagnostic, clinical, therapeutic and preventive skills and to guide clinical practice in the field of orthopaedic rheuamtology. We encourage authors to share their ideas, research work, case studies, reviews, letters to editors and other type of articles on the latest updated technologies in orthopaedic rheumatology, which have overtaken the scientific world through this platform. All the articles will go through review process before getting published in our journal.
It covers all aspects of the subject from basic science to advanced research related to orthopaedic rheumatology and stem cell research. It is a peer-reviewed journal & is essential reading for orthopaedic surgeon interested in the subject. It is the leading source for original clinically oriented articles on art and science rheumatology and its surgery. IJOR provides a novel information and techniques for advanced stem cell research in the field of regenerative orthopaedics.
IJOR aims to create awareness among orthopaedic surgeons for proper treatment and newer development in the field of orthopaedic rheumatology. The Journal will promote all research articles, case reports, trend articles presenting new research ideas, preclinical research articles showing theoretical or experimental knowledge contributing to the development of a treatment modality and over & above to cater all needs of orthopedic surgeons interested in orthopaedic rheumatology. Aim and Scope of Journal
The journal IJOR is published bi-annually under Innovative Publishers. IJOR disperses the information about the activities and the programmes of the association. IJOR aims in standardising the protocol and management of rheumatic and orthopaedic musculoskeletal disorders.
Due to fast pace of life and rapid industrialization, the growth of rheumatic and orthopaedic musculoskeletal disorders are in higher numbers. The management of such diseases faces a great challenge among orthopaedic surgeons. IJOR provides the best platform to share the management protocol, practical difficulty in treating diseases and engagement of biological therapeutic option in the form of PRP, stem cell applications in treating rheumatic and orthopaedic musculoskeletal disorders.
Due to the rapid growth of ‘Regenerative Science’, a new theory of bone and soft tissue regeneration have been focused on the role of growth factors in the platelets and the development of different therapeutic strategies and protocols in the treatment of chronic musculoskeletal disorders. The bioactive micromolecules present in the platelets and stem cells are histopromotive factors which undergo degranulation and induce cellular migration, proliferation, neoangiogenesis and regeneration of degenerated tissues. IJOR caters the management protocols in the recent advancements like PRP injections and stem cell injections for rheumatic and orthopaedic musculoskeletal disorders. This journal shows a paradigm shift from traumatic conditions to rheumatic and orthopaedic musculoskeletal disorders and its management.
